Hawa Seh Age 6 and Wilma Blessing Sonii Age 9Sorry I haven't posted in awhile. We started the children's home and now have 10 kids living there. These are kids who came from living in the terrible housing you see in earlier posts. They were sleeping on mats on dirt floors. The children's home is a nice 3 bedroom, 2 bath home. Running water and electricity has not been available since the war. But, they are doing very well. They are being brought up in church and have all learned to pray. Pastor Tarkar and Martha have devotion each night before bed time with them. I have not been able to purchased bunk beds yet. But, they do have mattresses.
Last month Martha had to take one of the boys to the hospital. The doctor said that because of the food they used to eat and the way they had been living before coming to the home this boy had worms, low blood and also malaria. We purchased meds prescribed by the doctor and he is now doing very well.
These are the first 10 children of the Cindy Harper children's home. We had 11 kids but Marie's grandmother was located so she is now living with her. They are all wearing clothes donated to me from friends in the U.S. Thanks to all of you who donated them. Don't they look great!
